Full-time mom and part-time TV anchor, Shilpa Menon proves that the hand that rocks the cradle, indeed does rule the world! Whoever thinks that being a hands-on mum limits you to diaper changing and lullaby singing has definitely not met Cochin-based super mom Shilpa Menon. Even though Shilpa’s little rockstar Kabir is merely 11-months old, it doesn’t stop her from pursuing her other interests without ever ignoring him! Shilpa has many laurels to her merit, being a great mother included (but of course!). The multi-talented lady is a part-time TV anchor and MC for corporate and entertainment shows and concerts and worked with Vijay TV before going on maternity leave. She loves getting behind the lens too and often lends her husband a helping hand with his candid wedding photography assignments. And if that wasn’t enough, she is a trained singer and has her own Indian clothing line called Naulakha Zarismith too! 
Shilpa’s work requires her to travel a lot, but that doesn’t mean she leaves her little one behind. “Kabir has travelled quite a bit too thanks to the nature of my work. These jaunts have made him a really social baby! He loves meeting people, eating new kinds of food, and going out to look at animals!” she quips. 
Considering she is a designer too, style comes naturally to Shilpa. “Saris and dresses are my favourites and I love pairing them with long earrings, while keeping the neck bare.
