Love is in the air and we can’t help but fall in love with love! Proposal stories are our favourites… And they get a whole lot better when our customers share their adorable stories with us. Recently, Ankita shared her engagement ring story with us and now, we have Jigyasa from Chennai sharing her fairy tale –
“Durgesh and I met in Chennai through a mutual friend. At first, I was really reluctant. He was working in the USA back then and he had come all the way from New Jersey to meet me. I could sense his interest in me. But I didn’t think much about it till we met. “Surprisingly, we hit it off really well. I had had some apprehensions about him but all of them dissolved once we met. After he left for the USA, I saw the amount of effort he was putting in to make sure I was okay, even though we were continents apart. He’d stay up at times when I was sick. Small things like these made me fall for him. I could see that he’s the one person I could rely on, come what may! 
“As time passed, he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark and that’s when he asked me to plan a trip to Paris. I was clueless about what would happen next… The day after reaching Paris, he took me to the Eiffel Tower. While I was soaking in the beauty of the “City of Love”, I saw Duggu (yeah, I call him that) get down on one knee with this gorgeous engagement ring in his hand! I couldn’t believe it. It was definitely a fairy tale moment and a dream come true. 
“Durgesh is as perfect as someone can get! He had planned all this out months in advance. He had visited the CaratLane store in Chennai and purchased my engagement ring. I had no idea when and how he did this. All I know is that I’m really lucky to have met him!
