The Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond is a whopping 31.06 ct blue diamond that will be on display this year from January to August at the National Museum of Natural History, USA. Interestingly, this gem is supposed to be from the same Indian mine as the Hope diamond (see our earlier post). Owned by various European royalties till early 20th century, the stone came to auction in 1931. In 2008, the diamond price was estimated at $24.3 million. and was bought by Laurence Graff (of Graff Diamonds International). Share/Save/Bookmark
