Meet Shilpa Chordia When free-spirited and happy-go-lucky Shilpa Chordia is not spreading her zest for life, she works as a jewellery designer at CaratLane.com. A resident of “the wonderful city of Chennai,” as she likes to call it, she is a big believer in irreplaceable me-time. 
“I make sure to get some time with myself before I start work because once I am at the office, the day just flows. I unwind with yoga in the evening and perhaps head for a movie, dinner or drive with my friends after that,” she says giving us an insight into her day. 
As someone who is not afraid to express herself, she prefers a minimal yet statement look, when headed to PM soirees. “I like to go with one head-turning piece—be it show-stopper earrings, a bold ring or multiple chains accentuated with bold lips,” she adds. 
As the designer behind CaratLane’s ‘After 8’ collection, she was inspired by the moon and stars in the night sky when creating this line. “This collection is my idea of midnight glam. It’s simple and classy, yet the pieces promise to turn heads every single time!” What more can one ask for, right?
